The first thing you see as you enter the parking lot.

Check last year's pictures and you will see the progress
Cla has made. We went around and took photos
of the new landscaping before the meeting started.

Jan Fortune, Supervisor of Bamboo Commissary at
Zoo Atlanta, and Lindsey Grief gave a presentation
on the Pandas' bamboo requirements.
Cla found out this was her birthday and after the
presentation surprised Jan with a birthday cake.

Cla introduces Robby to give a talk on the general use of bamboo.

Adam Turtle gave the "Bamboo 101" presentation
using slides so there are no photos. After Adam's
program we broke for a picnic lunch provided by
Cla and his staff.

During the break we all had a chance to visit with
old friends and meet new ones.

Everybody getting ready for the afternoon sessions.

Robert Small gave the afternoon presentation on
designing your landscape using bamboo.

After Robert's presentation the Chapter thanked
Adam and Sue for all the work they have done for the
Chapter and recognized them as the founders of the Chapter.
The original presentation was made at the February meeting;
however, their schedule did not allow them to be present
at that meeting so we took this opportunity to offically
thank them. And, no, this is not the cake from February.

Everyone seemed to have a good time.

Hope to see you at our next activity.
